Global Positioning Systems (GPS)

This system allows us to perform surveys economically, accurately, and efficiently. GPS is quickly becoming one of the more frequently used surveying instruments today. With GPS, a surveyor can cover more ground in less time than other, more conventional methods. Complex surveys that once took many weeks to complete, can often be completed in a few days with a higher level of accuracy than ever before.
